About Colorado Trail Guides

I started Colorado Trail Guides in 2007 as a guiding service geared toward people who would like to explore Colorado's mountains without knowing where to start. We cater to small groups and families who are looking for mountain adventure, but need some direction as to where to go, what gear to bring, and what to expect.
Difficulty levels range from easy dayhikes at relatively lower elevations, to multi-day expeditions climbing some of the highest peaks in the state. As a certified personal trainer, I am also in a great position to help you with your conditioning for more daunting adventures.
Colorado Trail Guides offers guided hiking and snowshoeing trips (including gear!) in Colorado, and in the future (i.e. as soon as we have the budget to purchase a number of kayaks) , we will also provide paddling trips on Colorado's lakes and reservoirs.
Safety on the trail is of crucial importance, and a lot of preparation has gone in to the selected itineraries. Our guides are all certified wilderness first responders, and know the trails like the back of their hands.
The trips included in our offerings are all a variation of the solo adventures described in this blog.
